Estimating/Rounding

Estimating is guessing the answer of an equation.

Example: 1254 + 308
My guess (estimation) is 1518.

Rounding is taking a number and bringing it up to the nearest tenth, hundredth, thousandth, etc. You can also bring them down if the ones place is below 5.

Examples: Rounding 78 to the nearest tenth
78 to 80
Rounding 63 to the nearest tenth
63 to 60
